The market historically experiences an average decrease of 3.28% in active listings from December to January. An increase of 8.16% indicates increased seller activity. 7.02% more listings in January 2026 than January 2025.
Sellers will be happy to hear that pending contracts increased by 48.19% from December for detached homes and 43.79% for attached homes, signaling that buyers are reentering the market.
